Important board meeting for residents to attend determining the future of Epsom Hospital!

For a long time I have been campaigning to save Epsom Hospital, organised fundraisers and have attended numerous board meetings and Better Services for Better Value (BSBV). (The review that will decide on which hospitals will retain Maternity, Childrens and A&E services.)

This latest meeting will be held at Epsom Racecourse and it is very important that members of the public attend to show their support for Epsom Hospital. This is not a public meeting, but a board meeting that is held in public.

The meeting will therefore now take place on 17 May, 1.30-5pm at Epsom Racecourse.

At the meeting, the Governing Board will discuss the Better Services Better Value options that will be put forward and will make a decision on whether the CCG is content to proceed to public consultation. As you are probably aware, every CCG involved in the review is holding a similar meeting.

As it a meeting of our Governing Board, the meeting will be held in public (ie. it is not a public meeting as such as some reports have suggested).

Please do spread the word among your friends, and mothers and mothers to be, who are interested in Epsom Maternity may like to attend to show their support!
